The biggest question of a client who needs and wants to buy a GPU, is knowing how to correctly choose the make, model, capacity, or the type of GPU that best suits your company. Which also meet the particular aircraft.

Find out what the maximum starting current, required for its aircraft, and choose a model with at least 50% of power to spare. For example: maximum current starting 900A requires GPU at least 1600A maximum capacity.

If its use is in the hangar or next, and need not be transported by aircraft and also has three-phase electricity which will be used, your best option is a GPU ELECTRIC.

Currently all our GPU's has electrical, electronics and DC filter high efficiency. Throughout Jet-Power line is active, automatic operation without switching off the supply. A GPU, high capacity (2500A) that meets any aircraft 28VDC, large or small, while the smaller capacity are limited to smaller aircraft.

If where you will be used has three-phase electricity, or does not have the be made available at a reasonable cost, and its use is not very big, you can opt for a GPU WITH BATTERY, Laptop or Towable. Laptop if you need to carry on aircraft, and Towable if it is to always stay in the hangar and close or remote areas without power. GPU laptop has less capacity matches a Towable, and higher cost of battery replacement. (We do not recommend the use of GPU batteries which has three-phase power available).

If your drive is great, and has no way to connect an electric GPU, there need to be a GPU DIESEL, which has a diesel generator, which provides voltages in accordance with the requirement of aircraft to be met (115VAC, 28VDC or 400Hz, or the two together). You also need to know the power required. Should not be lower than necessary, but may be higher without problems, GPU (our GPU) only provides the aircraft calls within safe limits.

ALL GPU's of our production line must be specified with power than needed, to work loose. Can be of great power, but that do not provide current above the request of the aircraft because the existence of an automatic current limiting the electrical GPU's. The design and construction aimed at greater security, without worrying about the cost. Our biggest GPU's can meet the smaller aircraft or a large airliner, international flight.

Solve whether to invest once right or if you prefer to take the risk of buying the wrong. Almost always the cheapest is not the best. GPU's imported may even be cheaper when buying, but has a high cost of spare parts and maintenance. For example, a device such as Jet-Power Filter II 2500, is the most expensive 2 (comes just below the Jet-Power Filter II 3S), and still is the most sold in Brazil since 1985. Its estimated lifespan is up 30 years.

Beware of counterfeit products that are on the market, copies of our GPU. Do not buy a pig in a poke. Evaluate the manufacturer's potential, time to market is important, because a GPU needs to be trusted (your aircraft is at stake) and only with a product time can be set, corrected and improved.
