The “JET-POWER DIESEL 28VCC” is a Ground Power Units (GPU) composed of a diesel generator group with a IVECO engine, 04 cylinders starting a modern WEG alternator, brushless, of 45/90KVA, 220 or 380V, three phase, 50/60Hz, wich supplies energy to a transformer similar to the electric GPU “Jet Power”, with output of 28VCD and starting current of 2,000/3,000A at peak.     

They were designed to be used in aircrafts (airplanes and helicopters) as an external source of power to start turbine and test equipments on board, especially in places where there are no conditions to be used an electrical source (such as an electric “JET POWER”).

The "JET-POWER DIESEL" is composed by two units placed in the same frame:

• DIESEL GENERATOR GROUP 127/220VCA or 220/380VCA, 50/60Hz.

• ELECTRICAL GPU "JET-POWER" 28VCC, 2,000/3,000A at peak.

This equipment provides output voltage from the electric GPU, supplied by the generator group. It can be towed to the aircrafts away from the electrical network. Its commands are easy to operate and may be used by anyone working in the support area, simply following the sequence indicated on the panel to start the equipment and also to shut it down.  

The "JET-POWER DIESEL 28VCC" is produced under strict technical standards and modern industrial technology, using components and materials of high quality to ensure its efficiency, safety and durability.

Technical Information for the electric “JET POWER”:

 Input: 220 or 380V, three-phase, supplied by the generator group;

Output: 27 to 31,5V, adjustable by potentiometer placed on the GPU´s panel;

Maximum Current: 2,000 or 3,000A at peak. The current given by the “JET POWER DIESEL 28VCC” in the start or tests depends mostly on the type of turbine or the load applied;

Ripple: 0.027% at 100A; 0.19% at 300A;

Rectification: six-phase (6 diodes).

INFORMATION ABOUT THE USE OF THE GENERATOR GROUP:

It may also be uses as a mobile generator to supply electric energy in remote locations, away from conventional electric installations. It provides 127/220V or 220/380V, 50/60 Hz, 45KVA constant or 90KVA at peak.  The tension is automatically adjusted. For its output there is an external three-phase jack.
